Our blog was launched in late July 2020 and has experience significant customer engagement (over 392,910 visits). Traffic is driven primarily from Facebook posts and small-circulation emails. Our focus is similar to our social strategy, with articles about credit, finances and life.

I established the tone and have written 95% of the articles. Here are links to some of my favorites:

Opportunity
Create a blog article that would give tips on overcoming financial anxiety and drive traffic to it using a Facebook post, email and site asset.

Insights
“Overcoming financial anxiety” sounded too harsh, so I wanted to avoid using it.
• Customers are more likely to engage with shorter-form content on Facebook and in email.
• GIFs and videos are more engaging on social media.

Solution
I wrote the copy to be encouraging and empowering, so it would help our customers feel in control when faced with money worries. I also suggested we create a PDF they download and print at home. I wrote the blog article in a listicle format to make the copy scannable and engaging. The Facebook and email were written as a teaser to get customers to click through and read the blog article.

My Contribution
Listicle and PDF concept, copywriting.
